Persecuted as a Christian.

When you became a Christian, you thought your life was going to get better. You thought that Christ would make everything okay and everything would be sunshine and rainbows.  If this has happened to you then God bless you. If it hasn't, it's time to wake up.
In Mathew 11:28-30 Jesus says "Come to me, all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my Yoke upon you, and learn from it. For I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. My yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Jesus says "Take MY yoke upon YOU."  That means we have to accept the conditions the way they are.

I remember when I helped someone come to Christ, they said that Jesus would make her popular. I tried to explain that that wasn't how things worked but she didn't listen to me. She ended up not following Christ anymore and is still living as a human today.

What do you think God is?  Your friend, father, provider, guardian etc. Although all these things are true, they are not what God really is.  Nowadays, people are not afraid of God. They think that he is a sugar daddy in the sky that will give them whatever they ask for, but that is not the case.

We are God's servants, and Jesus said that no servant is greater then their master. Yet Jesus got more persecution on this earth then any other Christian.

When you became a Christian, you weren't signing a contract with God, you were giving your whole life to him.  Show him that you love him.

So when you don't have any friends, or you are teased for being a Christian etc. Just remember that Jesus took the greatest persecution for you.
