Do you hang out with the christians at your school? The goody two shoes? Do you avoid the troublemakers and rebels? This is okay, but What Would Jesus Do?
Everyday, we are faced with the decisions of life. One of these questions is who to hang out with. Because who you hang out with shapes who you are right?
But what if your influence could help a sinner come to Christ?
Last year, I hung out with the trouble makers in my class. They did some pretty bad things: prostitution, sexual dancing, drinking etc.
Why did I hang out with them? Surely their bad habits should've rubbed off onto me right?
Well, being tempted isn't a sin, but accepting temptation is.
Compared to these trouble makers, I was naive, a nerd, a goody two shoes. They would always look down on me because of that. I wondered why I was friends with them.
But God works in mysterious ways.
One day, one of those girls came into school crying. She told me that a pastor on TV had told her that she was going to hell.
I told her that that wasn't true and that all you had to do was repent your sins to God, and Jesus will save you.
I ended up helping 10 girls come to christ. It took them some time to actually put Christ into their lives.
Today, they all go to church, get good grades and they stopped their bad habits.

When Jesus came down to this earth, did he hang out with the priest, rich man etc.?
Nope, he hung out with the sinners.
In the end, these sinners came to know him. And they became christians.
I'm not saying to make a murderer your best friend. Just try to broaden your view of people. Don't just stick to the 'goody goody' people.
In this world, you will always find trouble. No one is perfect.
