Let me tell you a story:
There once was a flower shop. There were four flowers: a bud, a diseased flower, an old shriveled dying flower and a BEAUTIFUL AMAZING and GORGEOUS flower.
If prince Charles walked into that flower shop, which flower do you think the owner would give him. Obviously the beautiful flower.
These flowers kind of represent our christian lives:
❀The budding flower represents children in Sunday school. They are still learning how to give themselves to God and do not understand what it means to be a christian. But they have so much potential!
❀The diseased flower represents those who give themselves to God when they are sick, broken and down (I'll explain this a bit later, please do not be offended)
❀The old dying flower represents those who give themselves to God when they are taking their last breath, and are about to die.
❀The beautiful flower represents those who give themselves to God in their most successful, beautiful and best times of their lives.
NOW WAIT A SECOND!!! If you didn't know about Jesus your whole life until your dying or your broken etc., then I am not talking about you.
I am talking about those who have known about God their WHOLE lives! Some of them even grew up in the church! But they decided that they want to have fun during their good times instead of giving themselves to God.
You know what you are telling God when you give yourself to him when you are broken, dying, sick? Your saying: "God I am your servant! Use me for the greatness of your kingdom."
But how can God use you when your like that?
I mean, it's GREAT that you gave your life to Jesus. But how can he use you now when your like that, when he could of used you during your good days?
