How we treat non-belivers

Okay, let me just start off by saying that there is a difference between trying to encourage somebody to Christ, and then just FLAT OUT SAYING THAT WHAT THEY ARE DOING IS WRONG AND THAT THEY ARE GOING TO HELL!!!

Okay, I'm so glad I got that out. Yesterday I was reading this rant book, and the author posted a chapter about this 'girl' on Tumblr that committed suicide. Why did 'she' commit suicide? Because she was transgender (she was actually a boy) and her parents didn't like that.
'Her' parents were christians, and when they found out 'she' was gay, they treated her badly.
They told her that she was selfish, stupid and going to hell.
They took away her cellphone, laptop and friends.
She was lonely and depressed, so she committed suicide a couple of months ago.
We ALL know that the bible says that homosexuality is wrong. But that doesn't mean we are any better.
For example, let's pretend that stealing a pencil from school is a small pebble. Stealing a pencil isn't a big deal, right? But it's STILL a sin. Now let's pretend that homosexuality is a bigger stone.
What happens when we drop both stones in the water?
The both sink.
End of story.
There is no "Stealing pencil isn't really that big of a deal."
The key word is: stealing.
Stealing is a sin.
And God hates sin.
But he loves us, all of us.
I was really upset when I read that post. I know that for gay people, it takes a LONG time for them to accept themselves like that. It's even harder for them to admit it to society.
I'm not saying that being gay is 'okay'. I'm saying that we are all sinners, we are all guilty.
But Jesus saves, he loves us.
You could have MURDERED someone yesterday, and God would still forgive you. You'll still have to suffer the consequences (like going to jail, fine etc.) but God will always forgive you.
Jesus came to this earth, and he was perfect, sinless. I swear I would've gone crazy if I was Jesus.
Like, he was perfect, but he didn't tell people off in their faces.
Instead, he showed them love, kindness and the joy of the lord.
Yet he suffered the worst, for ALL of us. Not only the Christians.

You can't just walk around thinking you are better then everybody. You are meant to follow Christ example.
Jesus was humble. H-U-M-B-L-E!
He was perfect, yet he was treated like a slave, a criminal.
And he accepted it.
Like I said, if I was Jesus, I would probably go crazy.

So next time, when you come across a Muslim, transgender, Atheist etc. Treat them with love.
Because there is always someone watching.
This song has been stuck in my head this week, yes, it's another christian song.
"Righteousness, peace, joy in the holy ghost
Righteousness, peace and joy in the holy ghost
that's the kingdom of God!"
Well if that is the kingdom of God, we better start showing that to the people around us.
