What do I do when someone is bullying someone else?

No matter how many times you try to avoid them, bullies are every where.  And while you may think playing safe is going to help you, we all know that standing up for what we believe in will help everyone else.  But what does God say about bystanders (people that witness other people getting bullied)?

Turn your bibles to Numbers chapter 16 and read the story.

Finished? Good.  So this story is how Korah starts trying to make Moses look bad, in front of 250 Israelite men!  And while Korah was trying to hide his sin, he couldn't foul God.  What did Moses do? He prayed that God would not strike the bystanders.  But in the end, God sent a plague that killed those 250 men.

Want another example?  There was a woman who was falsely accused of being a witch.  She was tied up, burned, beaten by iron rods and faced many other terrible punishments.  Do you know how many bystanders there were?  Five-hundred people witnessed her death (that included the police).

You may be wondering "Why didn't anyone do anything?"

Well that's a question many people ask themselves.

Have you ever felt it was your fault that someone was being bullied even though you weren't the bully? Have you ever felt like you could do something for someone that was being bullied?

No matter how many campaigns or events are held, bullying will not stop unless we, the people help.
